West Towne Agents' Passion is for Habitat

Updated: Oct 8, 2023

The First Weber West Towne Office has a record of supporting one non-profit per year as it's office 'passon project.' This year they have chosen to support Dane County Habitat for Humanity.

First Weber West Towne team members are helping to raise funds for Dane Co. Habitat for Humanity this year by parking cars for home Badger football games and a raffle.

Not only have they volunteered at some 'build days' for Habitat, but they have generated donations from the public through UW Wisconsin Badger Football home games. A generous lot owner near Camp Randall donated their lot to the office for home games. The agents and staff take donations via a QR code or cash - $30 per spot - for each game. With 55 spots, the fundraiser has proven to be quite successful.

The agents are also planning to hold a raffle for some items they have received as donations: a Door County Cottage Weekend Getaway, an E-Bike, a lawnmower and Beer for a Year.

The West Towne team is utilizing the First Weber Foundation to seek a $2,500 match to all donations raised for their event.

The First Weber Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is the giving arm of First Weber Inc. The Foundation was incorporated in 2006 and since then has given more than $4 Million to more than 1,000 qualifying non-profits, mostly in the State of Wisconsin.
